The Priority Purchase Scheme – explained!
Before any housing is made available on the open market a Priority Purchase
Scheme will be operated for the first 28 days. This scheme is available
exclusively to local residents, decants and immediate family members, as
well as tenants and waiting list applicants of Stirling Council and Forth Housing
Association to ensure they have the first opportunity to buy a new home.
First-time buyers will also be given priority.
In order to purchase one of the properties within the first 28 days, you will be
required to complete a Priority Purchaser Application Form. In this form you will
need to state which of the categories you comply with. This form is available
from the Sales Offices on Raploch Road or can be downloaded by clicking here.
PLEASE NOTE: The renting of whole or part of any property purchased under the Priority Purchase
Scheme is strictly prohibited.
